Ryyk Blade (1.1) - File Description  


Description:
Wookiees have been a favorite among species in the Star Wars universe ever since Chewbacca was introduced in 1977. Zaalbar; who also is a Wookiee is a main party member in the first Knights of the Old Republic game. Once you learn more about Zaalbar and his family history, you learn that he has a brother who is Chieftain on the planet of Kashyyyk.

Inyri Forge is back with an update to use Ryyk blade mod. What this mod does is give both Zaalbar and Chuundar Ryyk blades to fight with. Zaalbar’s is in a footlocker just outside of where you rescue him in the Taris Sewers, while Chuundar has his and he doesn’t plan on giving it up, so you’ll just have to do things the hard way if you want his blade. Of course you can cheat to get these blades by using the cheat console.

This mod uses the TSL Patcher for easy installation and file merging with the baseitems.2da file. This file is the same as the original, but just has an installer update. For those who had problems with that in the past from the original release, this will fix that for you. Enjoy the update! big grin

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

The TSL patcher has been used. The patcher has also been fixed so there should hopefully be no problems and no by-hand modifications needed.

Extract the contents of the ZIP file and run Ryyk_Installer.exe and the follow the instructions provided.

DESCRIPTION
------------
Wookiee culture relies very much on traditional values. The construction of the ryyk blade is one of those traditions. The blade is made by hand by each Wookiee warrior as a symbol of themselves. This mod makes two of these blades available in the game: one for Zaalbar, which can be found in the chest with his bowcaster in the Taris undercity sewers, and Chuundar's, which you can loot from his corpse if you kill him.

I think I fixed all the bugs with the installer, so those of you who've been sad for, what, a year because the installer didn't work right can now breathe a sigh of relief!

Cool new weapon ! I couldn't make the first release to work with Wotor, but this one works well. Good job, at last a good melee weapon for big Z ! I hope you will continue releasing new mods like this. Two Thumbs Up!
